West Hollywood, CA Tower Records display, ceramix boxer wearing headphones

When the West Hollywood Tower Records location shut its doors in 2006, employees who had worked there for some time were allowed to take some mementos. I bought this from a vendor who had done a lot of business with the iconic Sunset Strip record store and now I need the money more than I need the dog. His measurements are 13" x 13" x 6". I've looked for photos that would add to the provenance but haven't been able to locate any. I was told that the dog was perched on a shelf during its life there. Anyway, the only thing I'm sure of is that he's like a poor man's version of the RCA Victor mutt except instead of listening to the speaker of a victrola this pooch is wearing headphones.
